I am a scientist and designer. My work spans the boundaries of data science, software engineering, and interface design. By blending my technical skill and design aesthetic, I transform complex data into beautiful and actionable interfaces.

My roots are in science. With a PhD in computational biology from MIT I bring a rigorous approach to data analysis. Following my passion as a maker, I spent 10 years designing and engineering data visualization interfaces for researchers at BC Cancer. My drive to create products led me out of academia and to Microsoft where I worked as both a designer and data scientist on innovative products such Dynamics 365 Guides for HoloLens. I am currently an independent freelancer based in Vancouver, Canada.
