In this personal project, I explored patterns in my Apple watch sleep data by building a collection of Observable notebooks. The project involved:

Concept: Explored sleep visualization ideas through sketching and experimented with designs that are both analytically useful and visually engaging.

Data processing: Wrangled data in Python to transform the raw data from my Apple watch into a form suitable for visualization.

Visualization design: Envisioned and iteratively prototyped all aspects of the visual design in code using real data.

Implementation: Used D3 in Observable to create notebooks that step through my design process and include the final visuals.
